FAQs

Yes, and we encourage pet owners to do so. We strive to be a facility that our clients can trust and we believe you should have the right to make informed decisions. You should look into the options and find the place that works best for your needs and wishes. Pet aftercare is a very personal decision that you and your family should make.

Yes. You and your family can attend any portion of a private cremation at no extra charge. We would need to coordinate a time but that is not a problem at all. Please call us if you would like to set this up.

At Emerson Pet Cremation, we follow a strict system to insure you get back your pet. Every private cremation has a through pet identification system that we are happy to explain. Each private cremation is given an individual metal tag that remains with the body through the whole procedure so we can always identify your pet. We want our clients to feel comfortable and know that there is no question about the remains.

That choice depends on the aftercare plan you choose. If you choose private cremation your pet will be the only pet in the crematory. Communal cremation will occur with other pets. All of our cremations are strictly in accordance with the International Pet Cremation Standards.
